Ju Ming is the most important Chinese artist of his generation, one who marries profound knowledge of and respect for the traditions of Chinese art with absorption in the grammar of modern art. “The Taichi Arch – Gate of Health” is a large bronze sculpture standing outside the Li Ka Shing Center at the University of Cambridge, symbolizing the flowing energy and balance of the ancient art of Taichi.
