Culture

Every country possesses a unique history and culture formed over thousands of years.  We believe that the preservation of historical monuments and cultural relics helps us define the past and points the way to the future. Some of the Foundation’s work in this regard includes the following projects:

The Ta'er Temple in Qinghai Province

One of the four most important centers of Tibetan Buddhism, this temple is the center of culture and education in the Qinghai-Tibet region.

The Yu Lin Caves in Dunhuang

Some of the most spectacular cultural discoveries at the beginning of the 20th century were found in China’s Dunhuang Grottoes, located about 70 kilometers from Xi’an, where a number of valuable historical documents, artifacts, paintings and statues were uncovered.
