The Foundation has made supporting the stability and vitality of communities a priority, whether through delivering aid in case of disasters or by motivating citizens to become more service-oriented. Listed below are some of our major contributions to community:

Sichuan Earthquake

The worst earthquake in China in 30 years devastated tens of thousands of Sichuan Province residents and affected all of China, who were deeply affected by the calamity. To offer help, the Li Ka Shing Foundation joined with the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Civil Affairs, and the China Disabled Persons’ Federation in implementing three separate efforts to help residents rebuild their lives and their communities.

Love Ideas, Love HK
This innovative program is designed to generate some of the best ideas from individuals and educational and charitable organizations to encourage participation in projects to better the Hong Kong community.
